On Tour Pt. 1- Departure
We spent the last two days cleaning the house. That prime old town spot, right by the club, it made life easy and amazing. Luckily at this point in our lives we don’t own much, and we can fit it all into a couple suitcases. I leave tomorrow am and Carnegie leaves Tuesday (after djing Crave Monday), and then we take the first weekend at Syracuse and Lafeyette. I’ve been setting up facebook events, sending out flyers for print, getting more merch, maquesting, getting sound right etc etc all week amidst the moving and it looks ready to go…
It feels good to look back on AZ. We’re craving a lot of things as artists right now, action, a sense of definition in our plan, a community of other business oriented creatives. I hope we can find those things on the road and not have to look back. We’ve performed at all these clubs so many times, gone through our days without the necessary motivation… This tour should prove to be the jumpstart we need.
Luckily everything is closed up here, mixtape is recorded, house is cleared out, shows are done. Let’s get it in!
