Viva La Hova Remastered
When I first moved to New York a few years back and I was drinking Scotch overlooking the city and running wild in the town with my boy Jimmie, we had Viva La Hova in the Bose ipod speaker set and it was absolutely the perfect soundtrack to ignorantly sophisticated New York living. For those that didn’t gather, this is Jay-Z songs over Coldplay sample based beats by a variety of fresh producers and deejays. Terry Urban and Mick Boogie have released it remastered and without drops, taking it from a mixtape to a concept album of epic proportions, and I don’t say that lightly, I really love this project. Album Art Is Getting Amazing
Is it just me, or is album art really on the next level nowadays? And yes, Lil B did drop a spoken word ambient album, produced by him (produced meaning he just pressed pad keys in Garageband) and I won’t force you to sit through a sample, but you should probably cop the limited vinyl pressing just to have a piece of a strange strange time.

Mick Boogie’s Fashion Week Mixtape with Stylecaster is awesome You can download here. http://www.stylecaster.com/nyfw/ss2011 Lil Wayne’s got a new single and video for his upcoming EP, which he’ll still be locked up for. I heard they shot about 100 green screen videos before he went inside, so they could release material like this forever. If the rumours that they’re dropping the album and doing Madison Square Garden the night he gets out are true I’m gonna be at that concert no matter what.

Arizona, you mean the world to us. Tonight we rocked for thousands of people in Tucson, and people crowdsurfed at the afterparty when I played “Babylon” into “Hey” into that dubstep remix of Dead Prez’s “Hip Hop” This weekends lineup. And then Martini Ranch Sunday, which needs no flyer.

The time has come, and we got options for ya. Some notes… If the RSVP is visible on the flyer, go ahead and hit them up. If it is not visible I have removed or censored it in which case hit us up jack.steele@silvermedallion.net and we will provide you with RSVP information, and its up to you to use that to swing entry. We’re all about party crashing, but we’re classy about it. And if all else fails you just hang out at the free Rescue Water station and talk about how you’re “so over Fashion Week” after you caught a private Halston preview or whatever.
